Mostly cools, but with warm highlights, this lady is going places. Both she and her environment are richly patterned with plenty of movement and detail. Layers add depth to the background space. Our traveler dominates the foreground with her bold, cheeky presence. One of the first irregular edge pieces I created. Both hand and machine stitching. Commercial and upcycled fabrics from clothing (including boxer shorts!), cottons, rayons, metallics and sheers.
