Using fabrics that aren’t significantly different from one another, I created the background quilt as a representation of one end of a continuum. In contrast, the center section contains much more movement and variety of elements, representing the opposite end of a continuum. The center section was created separately from the background quilt and embellished with beads and paint.
100% cotton (hand-dyed and commercial) fabrics. Machine pieced and quilted. Lumiere metallic fabric paint used to enhance design.
Sleeve attached to back for hanging.
